About the Centre

The Centre was established with financial support from the Freemasons of Western Australia in 2000 as the Freemasons Centre for Research in Aged Care Services (CRACS). It changed its name to the Centre for Research on Ageing in 2006 to better reflect the breadth and diversity of its work. Since 2000, it has built a substantial research network and reputation across the University, with other national and international research centres, as well as individual researchers.

Vision

The Centre aspires to be recognised internationally for excellence in research and development.
